How do I book you?
Just give us a call or send us an e-mail.

We are booked for a session! Now what?
Once you have booked a portrait or family session we will set up a date and time that is convenient for you. For outdoor sessions the best times are earlier in the day or later in the afternoon. For photographers we call this the golden hour. This is when the lighting is best and most flattering.
We just booked you for our wedding, now what?
Once you have signed the contract and we receive your retainer your day is officially booked, and we are excited and honoured that you have chosen us to share your special day! Now we will schedule your engagement session which is included free with every wedding package.
We don’t want engagement photos do we get a discount?
Unfortunately no, we include the engagement session for free because it gives us a chance to work together before your big day.
You get the chance to practice posing and we can get to know each other a little before the big day. This will make you more relaxed on the day as we are a little more familiar with each other. This also gives you a more relaxed session to tell us what you are comfortable with or not willing to do without all your guests around.
Your engagement session will also give you some great photographs to display at your wedding or use for your “Save the Date” or invitations. We can also create a custom guest book using your engagement photos. See a guest book sample by clicking here.
How long is an engagement session?
An engagement session works the same as a portrait or family session. We will schedule a
session at a location and at a time that works for you. The session takes about 1-2 hours, and your images will be ready for viewing in about 2 weeks.
How long until we can see our photos?
For family or individual session please allow approximately 2 weeks for editing.
Weddings can take 2-6 weeks depending on the size of your wedding package.
The longer we are with you on your day the longer it will take us to edit, but we will explain this at our consultation. Remember we offer free no obligation consultations.
We do not sub-contract our editing to an outside service. We do all our own editing.
How do we get to see our final images?
Once we are finished editing, we will send you an e-mail with a link to your on-line gallery. You can view all your images before deciding which prints or products you want to purchase. We allow you to choose your favorite images.
Wedding clients will also be sent an e-mail when your gallery is ready for viewing. Once you have taken a look and are happy with the images, we will prepare your High Resolution DVD or your PASS gallery.
Our on-line gallery allows you to share you images on a variety of different social media sites if you wish. Just click on one of the links above the image or gallery and share your images anyway you choose.
We are currently working with a new program called PASS, PASS will allow our clients to view, share and download their images immediately. What Should I Wear?
This is a commonly asked question; you want to look your best for your photographs, Here are a few tips to help you look your very best!
- Wear pants that hang long. It will make you look taller and more slender. Your
pants will also look better if they start at your hip line. - Avoid shorts and capris pants; these make you look much shorter than you are.
- Avoid prints or patterns. The prints and patterns that are considered very
stylish today may be out of style in 6 months from now. By wearing solid colours you are less likely to look back on your photos and say “Why did I wear that?” - Blouses that end at the hip; this give a nice definition to your shape.
- Men may tuck in there shirts but women should avoid blouses that tuck in.
- Wear tightly woven garments. Sweaters and other loose knit fabrics will become see-through in flash lighting, which will show your under garments. This does not make for a flattering photograph.
- Avoid dresses and blouses with high waist lines like the Empire style or tops and dresses with belts or gathers as they flair out.
- Dresses should be a straight cut without a defined waistline to give you a slimmer look.
- Try and avoid white, it can make your skin look pale and washed out.
- Take a look at our What to Wear for Sessions board on Pinterest
